This trekking event is organised by IEM (Southern Branch) Young Engineers Section.

Pulau Mawar (Rose Island) is located about 26 km from Mersing town.
It is a 20 minutes walk on beach from the main land.

1. It's only two hours from Johor Bahru
2. It can be easily climbed even by kids and beginners
3. The view at Pulau Mawar is incredible
4. You can enjoy the beach

707 Pulau Mawar's Itinerary:

• 6 am, assembly at Tesco Desa Tebrau outdoor carpark for carpool arrangement
• Breakfast at McDonald's Ulu Tiram
• 7 am, set off to Mersing
• 9 am, reach Mersing
• 9:30 am, reach Pulau Mawar car park, Roll call & briefing.
• 9:40 am, start explore Pulau Mawar. Visit sky window, heaven gate, heaven door and upland.
• 10:06 am, low tide
• 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm, walk back to Pulau Mawar car park
• 12:45 pm - 1:30 pm, picnic lunch at Pulau Mawar car park.
• 1:49 pm, moonset
• 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, on the way to Mersing
• 2 pm - 2:45 pm, having late lunch at Mersing
• 2:45 pm - 4:45 pm, set off back to JB
