Honda Half Marathon (21.0975KM) for STANDARD CHARTERED KL MARATHON 2016

I register Standard Chartered KL Half Marathon 2016 through the website www.kl-marathon.com.

• Category: Half Marathon - <3:30hours
• Registration Fee: RM 80.00
• Race Entry Pack: RM 20.00 (I opted for the mailing service of my race entry pack)
• AMOUNT PAID: RM 100.00 (Paid by credit card)

22 July 2016, Friday morning, my race entry pack arrive earlier two weeks before Race Day.
My mother accept one parcel for me from POS LAJU.
Race Entry Packs comprise; blue colour event bag, exclusive running singlet, bib with timing chip & sponsored items.


7 August 2016, Sunday, EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

1am, wake up and eat my early breakfast, cup noodle with chicken flavor.

4am, flag off time for full marathon. (Nothing to do with me!)

4:05am, on the way to Dataran Merdeka from Petaling Street.

5:30am, flag off time for half marathon (21.1 km).

• After passing by the main road beside Menara DBKL, my left hand finger and wrist are hit by bird shit falling from the top. I quickly wipe off with tissue and continue running without stop. 
• DRINKS STATIONS: Ice Mountain drinking water are available every 2km after the first 4km.
• ISOTONIC STATIONS: 100Plus Isotonic drinks are available every 4km after the first 4km. Every finisher will get water and isotonic drinks at the Finish area.
• FRUIT STATIONS: Bananas are available at the 14km mark for Half Marathon runners.
• Distance markers are placed at every kilometer along the routes.

8:35am, finished running 21km at 3 hours 5 minutes.
All runners who complete their race within stipulated cut-off time (3.5 hours) will receive a Finisher's medal.


8 August 2016, Monday,
Results are posted on www.kl-marathon.com within 24 hours after the event.
All participants who complete their race within stipulated time can download their certificate at www.kl-marathon.com within 48 hours after the race.
