Uses

• pharmaceutical application, presumably due to the low toxicity of any residues.

• weed killer
• medical: disinfecting pads (消毒垫), hand sanitizer, 
• Laboratory: biological specimen preservative (生物标本防腐剂), preserve specimens (保存标本), DNA extraction

Safety: 

• is highly flammable, should be keep away from heat and open flame
• long term application to the skin can cause defatting (脱脂)
• Symptoms of poisoning: flushing, headache, dizziness, CNS depression, nausea, vomiting, anesthesia, and coma.

我的第三台手机

作工后的第一年，
我和诗韵一起去 AEON JUSCO Tebrau City Shopping Centre 的二楼，
购买我人生中第三台手机。

本来我带着诗韵一起去，是要她给我一些买手机的意见。
毕竟她本身也用智慧型手机 I phone。
可惜她没有帮上忙，最后还得要靠自己。

由于那个时候才刚开始做工，没有什么经济基础，
所以只能买比较便宜的手机。
在精打细算后，我决定购买 SAMSUNG Corby II 的黄色手机。
那台黄色手机的售价为 RM 399（有包16GB Micro SD card）。

我买新手机没多久，老妈也跟着我买同款的粉红色手机。

Return of Convocation Attire and Collection of Convocation Souvenir Items

In accordance with the UTAR Convocation 2011 PROCEDURES AND INFORMATION HANDBOOK,

Starting from 12 September 2011 to 14 September 2011, I am required to
a) return my convocation attire
b) collect my stage graduation photographs
c) collect my souvenir items
d) collect my certificate
from the same venue (UTAR Petaling Jaya Campus) that I have opted to collect my convocation attire.

Since 12 September 2011 is on Monday, many of us are forcing to take leave, just for returning convocation attire back to university.

Hue Yang Yang (our course rep), Low Thai Kwan (my course mate) and I are waiting until 10am.
While waiting, Thai Kwan keep arguing & complaining that, he though that he can just quickly return back the convocation attire and went back to company working. He never expect to wait for a long time. Obviously, he didn't read the "UTAR Convocation 2011 PROCEDURE AND INFORMATION HANDBOOK" in detail. Inside the handbook, stated that the working hours for returning is in between 10am until 6:30pm. So, no use for blaming. UTAR always inconsiderate.

The Process of Returning the Convocation Attire, Issuance of Souvenir Items and Collection of Certificate

a) Present Convocation Attire to officer-in-charge for inspection.

b) Officer-in-charge to register collection of Convocation Attire and issue souvenir items to the graduate, who is required to acknowledge receipt.

c) A "Returning Convocation Attire and Collection of Certificate" form (DARP/Convo/1) is issued ONCE ONLY to the graduate.

d) Collect my stage graduation photographs.

 i) Venue of collection of Certificate and Academic Transcript:
At PJ campus: Proceed to the Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarships (DEAS) at PD209, Level B3, Block PD.

ii) Procedure for Collection of Certificate and Academic Transcript:
- Present the form (DARP/Convo/1) to the DEAS Officer-in-charge for verification
- Collect the Degree Certificate and Academic Transcript once verified.
- The form (DARP/Convo/1) to be retained by DEAS.

大学毕业典礼

这次的毕业典礼，机械工程系一共有85人成功毕业（其中包括四位大学学长）。

Venue / 地点: Dewan San Choon, Wisma MCA（马华三春礼堂）

由于这一届毕业典礼，拉曼大学有太多毕业生。
所以校方把毕业典礼分成为期三天，共六场毕业礼。（星期五，六，日）
每一天有两场毕业礼。

我被分派到星期六下午的SESSION，第四场毕业礼。

第四场毕业典礼嘉宾是 Professor Dr. Leonard Yong。
他是 President of Leonard Personality Incorporated。
