KOTA JOHOR LAMA

Dibina dalam tahun 1540 di zaman pemerintahan Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah II (1528-1564). Kota ini merupakan kota pertahanan yang terbaik di antara kota-kota pertahanan yang dibina di sepanjang Sungai Johor.

Selepas kejatuhan Kesultanan Melayu Melaka dalam tahun 1511, Sungai Johor telah dijadikan pusat pemerintahan dan kota pertahanan untuk menyerang balas kedudukan Portugis di Melaka. Keadaan semula jadi kota ini memudahkan pengawasan dibuat terhadap pergerakan keluar masuk kapal-kapal terutamanya ancaman dari orang-orang Acheh dan Portugis.

Dalam tahun 1587, kota ini jatuh ke tangan Portugis. Keseluruhan kota ini dibakar dan harta benda termasuk senjata dirampas

OLD JOHOR PORT

It was built in 1540 during the reigned of Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah II (1528-1564). This fort was the best defence fort among the deference fort built along the Sungai Johor.

After the fall of Malay Sultanate of Malacca in 1511, Sungai Johor became the reigning centre and the defence fort to counter attack the Portuguese position in Malacca. The natural environment of the port make it easier to supervise the movement of the ships especially the threat from the Achiness and the Portuguese.

In 1587, the fort fell to the Portuguese. The whole fort was burn down and all assets including weapons were being taken.

1. Buaya mempunyai 18 jari. Kaki depan buaya mempunyai lima jari yang berasingan, setiap kaki belakang mempunyai empat jari yang berbentuk selaput jari.
2. Buaya mempunyai 60 hingga 72 butir gigi, fungsi utamanya untuk mengoyak mangsa tetapi tidak mengunyah makanan.
3. Buaya mempunyai 36 gigi rahang atas, 30 gigi rahang bawah, fungsi utamanya untuk mengoyak mangsa tetapi tidak mengunyah makanan.
4. Gigi buaya hanya digunakan untuk menangkap mangsanya. Biasanya, buaya menelan seluruh mangsa atau mangsa yang telah dikoyak besar
5. Buaya membuka mulut besar-besar untuk dapat menghilangkan kepanasan dan menyejukkan diri kerana buaya tiada kelenjar peluh.

8. Mata buaya selain kelopak mata, ia juga mempunyai membran nictitating lutsinar, membolehkan buaya melihat dengan jelas di dalam air. Gogal menyelam ini dipakai 240 juta tahun dahulu pada zaman dinosaur.
9. Kulit buaya dianggap sebagai salah satu kulit yang terbaik di dunia. Kulit buaya lembut halus dan tahan lama. Tetapi hanya kulit pada bahagian perut sangat lembut. Kulit pada bahagian belakang mempunyai struktur tulang (osteoderma), maka kulit pada belakang dapat menghalang peluru menembusinya.
10. "Air mata buaya" ialah berdasarkan fakta yang benar - buaya akan mengalirkan air mata semasa makan makanannya. Mereka tidak akan berasa sesal atau sedih, sebaliknya disebabkan tertelan terlalu banyak udara.
11. Setiap lubang-lubang kecil atas tengkorak buaya mengandungi pautan kepada sistem saraf Buaya Tembaga. Keseluruhan kepala Buaya dilitupi dengan deria, mewujudkan rangkaian saraf ini di kepala, dan mereka dapat merasakan sedikit nadi dan turun naik di dalam air. Sedikit riak pun tidak dapat lari pada perhatian mereka.
12. Apabila manusia memukul mata buaya, ia tidak akan buta, kerana ia mempunyai penutup mata yang tersembungyi di dalam tengkoraknya untuk melindunginya daripada dicederakan. 
13. Buaya bertelur sekali setahun - Biasanya buaya mengambil masa 8-10 tahun untuk mencapai kematangan seksual dan mula bertelur, manakala buaya dewasa hanya bertelur sekali setahun, dengan hanya satu cengkaman sekali, seekor buaya boleh bertelur kira-kira 20-80 telur sekali. Buaya betina yang matang tidak bertelur setiap tahun, ada yang selang 1-2 tahun di antaranya.
14. Seperti manusia, haiwan tengkorak buaya mempunyai lebih sedikit tulang daripada dewasa dalam juvana mereka kerana beberapa tulang mereka tidak bersepadu sepenuhnya, tetapi apabila mereka semakin tua, tulang ini akan bergabung secara beransur-ansur.  
15. Suhu sarang telur buaya menentukan jantina anak buaya. Jika suhunya ialah 31.6 celcius atau ke atas akan menetaskan anak buaya Jantan. Jika suhunya di bawah 31.6 Celcius kebanyakan menetaskan anak buaya betina.
16. Anak buaya yang baru menetas akan berbunyi untuk menarik perhatian ibu buaya.

Crocodile Knowledge

1. Crocodiles have 18 fingers. And have five separate fingers on each front foot, and four webbed fingers on each of its hind legs.
2. Crocodiles have between 60 and 72 teeth which they use to tear fresh apart, but do not chew their food
3. Crocodile have 36 teeth for upper jaw; 30 teeth for lower jaw which they use to tear fresh apart, but do not chew their food. 
4. The crocodile's teeth are just used to grab food. They usually swallow the food whole or in big chunks
5. Crocodiles can be often seen with their jaws wide open. They open their jaws to cool themselves because they don't have sweat glands.
6. Their eyes can be seen as red dots while peeking from the water during the night
7. Crocodiles' eyes are terrifying, their vision is seven times more accurate than humans'. The crocodile eyes has a horizontal strip of tightly packed called the fovea. The fovea are usually located in circular areas, but in the crocodile horizontal stripes, they have the advantage of not moving head. Crocodile eyes can adapt to different type of water. It has unique characteristics, in the salt water eye tend to more blue, white fresh water has more red light.
8. Crocodile skin is considered as one of the finest in world. It is soft and fine and durable. However, only crocodile's belly has a gentle skin. Skin on their back contains bony structures (called osteoderms) which make skin bulletproof.
9. Expression "cry crocodile tears" is based on the true fact - crocodiles produce tears when they eat. They don't cry because they feel sorry for the prey, but because they swallow too much air, which gets in touch with lachrymal glands (glands that produce tears) and forces tears to flow
10. The crocodile egg is full of nutritions. The protein of crocodile egg is much higher than chicken eggs, duck eggs and goose eggs, so it is generally difficult to solidify, and most of people think that crocodile eggs are not boiled. In fact it already cooked.
11. Boiled the crocodile egg: Wash the fresh crocodile eggs, soak them in a pot of water for 1 minute, and then boil them over low heat (this is to prevent the shells of the crocodile eggs from bursting during the boiling process). Continue to boil in a lower heat for 20 minutes. Peeling off the eggshell, the egg white look like jelly, and it does not completely solidify like an egg. It tastes like jelly, and the egg yolk has a milky fragrance and a powdery texture. The nutritional value of crocodile eggs is higher than chicken eggs, duck eggs and goose eggs. 
12. Each of the tiny holes on the crocodile's skull contains a connection to the nervous system of the Crocodylus Porosus. The whole crocodile head is covered with senses, creation the neural network in the head, and they can feel the slightest pulse and fluctuation in the water. Not even the slightest ripple can escape their attention.
13. When a human hits a crocodile's eyes, it will not be blind, because it has an eye cover hidden in its skull (which allows the eyes to be hidden inside to protect it from being hurt)
14. Eyes of the crocodile have a layer of eyelid, and a transparent nictitating membrane, which allows the crocodile to see clearly in the water. As a diving goggles were worn 240 million years ago in the age of dinosaurs.
15. Crocodile Lay egg once a year - Generally crocodile takes 8-10 years for it to reach sexual maturity and start laying eggs, whereas adult crocodiles only lay eggs once a year, and can lay about 20-80 eggs at a time. Mature female crocodiles do not lay eggs every year, and some land on and off, with a 1-2 year interval in between.    
16. Crocodile skull animals, like humans, have slightly more bones than adults in their juveniles because some of the bones are not fully integrated, but as they age, these bones will gradually fuse.
17. Temperature of the nest determine the gender of the baby. When temperature is 31.6 degree Celsius - males will develop. Temperature below and above 31.6 degrees induces development of females.
18. The baby crocodiles inside the eggs make sounds to call mother.

吉胆岛是旅游区，有很多游客到当地旅行。

吉胆岛有多家海鲜餐馆，名宿，警察局，消防局，马来亚银行，茶餐室，寺庙，清真寺，小学和中学。

五条港 Bagan Sg Lima

从巴生港口乘快艇去五条港码头。

上岸后往前直走，来到分叉路口，正中位置就是五条港的中区，右方是北区，左方是南区，前方是华小。

据说早期的吉胆岛共有5个河流村落，由南部的吉胆岛渔村为一条港，顺着北方是二条港，三条港与四条港（死人住的地方），最北端的就是五条港。一条港（吉胆岛）与五条港虽然在同个岛上，不过陆路互不相通，只能从过海路来往两地。

五条港是吉胆岛上的小渔村，没有美丽的沙滩，反而屋子直接建立在沼泽地的高脚洋灰柱子上。

涨潮之际可以看到低下全是海水，退潮之际亦可以看见沼泽泥地。

退潮时还可以在码头附近看到不同颜色（如黄色，蓝色，红色）的小螃蟹。

岛上的渔村没有马路供汽车行走。

当地居民除了徒步，就是依靠脚车代步。

渔村内没有海鲜餐馆，就只有供居民喝茶聊天的茶室。

渔村内也没有诊所，不过有医护人员会每个月定期乘船来五条港问诊。

五条港有间华小。不过当地人读中学，需要乘船去吉胆岛上学。

这里的游客不多，并没有旅游区的商业气息。

五条港的外号是虾米之乡，因为岛民都以捕鱼虾和批发海产为生。到处探索时发现，这里的居民都在自家门口空地上晒虾米。

这里的作业方式非常特别，渔民将捕获的虾在船上加盐煮熟，然后运回来后，暴晒虾米几天。

Tugu Peringatan Negara Malaysia 国家纪念碑 National Monument

TUGU NEGARA

Pembinaan Tugu Negara telah diilhamkan oleh Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Alhaj, Perdana Menteri Malaysia pada tahun 1963 sebagai memperingati semua pahlawan yang gugur dalam peperangan mempertahankan kedaulatan negara termasuk mereka yang terdahulu. Kawasan yang dikhaskan untuk Tugu Negara meliputi tanah seluas kira-kira 48,562 meter persegi menghala ke Taman Tasik. Kompleks tugu ini mengandungi lima komponen utama iaitu Tugu Negara, kolam air pancut, astaka, tugu peringatan dan taman tambahan.

Tugu ini dibina dengan tujuh patung gangsa yang melambangkan kemenangan pasukan tentera menghadapi musuh. Reka bentuk tugu ini telah diilhamkan oleh seorang pengukir berbangsa Amerika, Felix De Weldon dan siap dibina pada awal tahun 1966. Upacara perasmiannya telah diadakan pada 8 Februari tahun yang sama. Mulai dari itu, upacara tahunan untuk memperingati pejuang yang gugur telah diadakan di sini.

Sebelum ini sebuah tugu telah didirikan berhampiran dengan stesen kereta api selepas Perang Dunia Pertama berakhir, untuk memperingati para pejuang yang gugur semasa peperangan tersebut. Perbarisan ringkas diadakan di sisi tugu peringatan ini pada setiap 11 November. Setelah tamat Perang Dunia Kedua, nama-nama pejuang yang terkorban telah ditambah pada tugu peringatan tersebut sehingga digantikan dengan Tugu Negara yang ada sekarang.

国家纪念碑

建造国家纪念碑是马来西亚首相，东姑阿都拉曼.普特拉在1963年提出的，目的是为了纪念那些为了保卫国家主权而阵亡的战士。

一片面向湖滨公园，占地4万8千5百62方公尺的地方因而被保留下来建这座纪念碑。它的范围内共有5个主要的部分，也就是纪念碑，喷泉，凉亭，战争纪念馆以及周围的花园。

这个由美国雕塑家，费利克斯.韦尔登在1966年设计的纪念碑是由七个青铜雕像所组成，象征着战胜了邪恶的民主主义队伍。纪念碑更是在同年2月8日谢幕，而在这之后，纪念阵亡战士的典礼每年都在这儿举行。

在纪念碑还未建成之前，有另一座为了纪念第一次世界大战阵亡战士的纪念碑被竖立在火车站的附近。每年的11月11日，这里都会举行一项简单的仪式以对他们的牺牲表示敬意。后来，第二次世界大战阵亡战士的名字更被加刻在这纪念碑上，一直到它被现有的国家纪念碑取代为止。

NATIONAL MONUMENT

The idea for the construction of the National Monument was mooted by the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, YTM Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Alhaj in 1963 to commemorate the warriors who died defending the sovereignty of the country. An area measuring 48,562 square metres facing the Lake Gardens was set aside for its construction. The monument complex encompasses five main components, the National Monument, fountains, pavilion, a war memorial and the surrounding gardens.

The monument embodying seven bronze statues also represents triumph of the forces of democracy over the forces of evil. The monument was designed by an American sculptor, Felix De Weldon and was completed in early 1966. I was unveiled on 8th February of the same year and from then on a ceremony to commemorate the passing of the warriors is held here annually.

Prior to its construction, another monument was erected near the Railway Station after World War I to commemorate the warriors who died during the war. A simple ceremony to honour their passing and sacrifices is held on 11th November every year. The names of warriors who died during World War II were added on to the monument until it was replaced by the present National Monument.

- 龙虎斑 是马来西亚大学配种出来的，所以绝对不可能有野生的。

接着村长把老鹰食物丢去大海，我们观看一大堆老鹰排队往海面进食。
