提早替雁雯庆祝她32岁的生日

今晚，我们3男4女要给雁雯一个惊喜，
提早替她庆祝生日。

我，燕莉，丽云，惠绮，Celine，明义 和 瑞祥
秘密相约在今晚8点在五福城附近的 GC cafe 见面。

晚上9点，我们的寿星，雁雯终于出现了。我们就开始替她庆祝生日。

去 Nadeje Mahkota Parade 吃千层蛋糕

地址：G-23B, Ground Floor, Mahkota Parade, 75000 Melaka

这家的千层蛋糕非常好吃，而且比较好找。

这间的千层蛋糕完全手工制作，就连蛋糕层数都是计算好了的最佳口感数，另外每层都是一片片煎熟并抹上新鲜奶油的，最上面那层则涂上烧制的焦糖。

据说做每个蛋糕的整个过程需要3-4小时，所以每天的供应数量有限。

店内的环境很舒服，装修和装饰都很朴实但又精致！

如果说鸡饭是马来西亚一道最普遍最经济的食物的话，

那么把鸡饭做成一粒一粒球状的就只有马六甲了。

到了马六甲鸡场街，一排就有好几间经营鸡饭粒（Chicken Rice Ball）的饭店，

最出名也是最老字号的当数 中华茶室 和 和记鸡饭团。

到达方式：过桥后鸡场街方向第一栋白色建筑，步行可到达。

在中华茶室 外面，从中午12点，排队到12半！

还好我有带雨伞，不然会被太阳活活晒干。

没有小份的了，最少要叫半只鸡（RM 22.30）；

一粒鸡饭团 40仙（一份鸡饭有5粒鸡饭团 RM 2）；

一罐100号（RM 2.20）。

午餐一共是 RM 26.50。

Melaka Heritage City Half Marathon 2016 (Range: 12km)

15 Jan 2016, Friday,
The registration is open since 15 Jan 2016, but the event organizer are updating some 'Important' new feed in their form. So, there are some problems that registrants might be encountered such as 'the form is not longer accepting new submission' or fail to make payment. So they decided to close the registration and website will be re-open by 16 Jan 2016.

Actually the event organizer forgot to add the processing fee RM 5 in their system.

According to their statement at 7:45pm,
"We would like to apologize that our website system cause a lot of problems to registrants. We are now trying our best to settle all the technical problems as soon as possible. We would like to announce the website will be closed for a short period due to unstable. Once it turned stable, we would reopen again for online registration. For those who had done payment early before the website update but not yet receive email. It is because the payment haven't include the processing fees (RM 5). So, we will manually send the email to them for requiring them to complete the rest of the payment (Processing fee - RM 5). Sorry for the inconvenience caused."


16 Jan 2016, Saturday,
Before 12pm, I register Melaka Heritage City Half-Marathon 2016 (12km)
through the website http://www.tntevent.my/.

I am able to grab my golden time to get early bird rate. It is 'ONLY' limited to first 250 participants.
The registration fee for 12km run is RM 55.
RM 50 is their ticket fees for early bird rate in 12km.
That RM 5 is a processing fees.
The CUT-OFF TIME for 12km is 3 HOURS.

11:41:41am, I received a sms stated:
"RM0.00 Thank you for using your Credit Card ending XXXX @ PAYPAL for USD 1.00 16/01 11:41. For any inquiry please call bank."
My Question: Why paypal charge USD 1?
Event Organizer Answer: that is the processing fee charge by paypal.

Early Bird online registration is closed after 1:30pm.
Normal rate online registration will open soon!

According to their statement at 6pm,
"Hi, we thank you all for your feedback as it means a lot for us. We have troubleshoot the current registration system and have decided to cooperate with MYraceonline in our next registration for your better experience. Kindly stay tuned as we will be giving a special rate for those who are unable to enjoy our early bird rate. The registration will be available on next week. Thank again for all your support."


23 April 2016, Saturday, Race Kit Collection,
1:10pm, on the way to Malacca from Johor Bahru.
4:15pm, arriving to Melaka Wonderland Theme Park and Resort, to collect race T-shirt and Bib Tag.
My Bib Tag number is E1798.


24 April 2016, Sunday,

4am, wake up.

6am, from Sunflower Hotel, reach to Melaka Wonderland Theme Park and Resort.

6:29:20am, start running 12km.

8:14:48am, finish running 12km.

After finish running 12km, the event helper passing me a light blue colour goody bag.
Inside the goody bag got a finisher medal, a bottle of drinking water and useless sponsor voucher.


Results:
Net_Time = 1:45:29
Check Point 1_Time = 0:38:54
Rk Cat = 162 / 214 (E - 12KM MEN OPEN)
Rk Mix = 179 / 234 (Men Only 12km)
Rk Over = 258 / 400 (Overall 12km)


Comments regarding my 12km run:

For me who came all the way from Johor Bahru, what I could do was shake my head at the end point.

1. I think safety is very much compromised for this event.
2. I think is highway run, and not a city run, neither heritage.
3. The water stations were not spaced out appropriately. 
4. One of the water station is left unattended. Found a lot of 1.5 liter Revive bottles thrown around the water station. 
5. No traffic control.
6. None road marshal along the road. 
7. Runners were zig zagging crossing the highway, running like a headless chicken. Running in the middle of the road with fast moving car, busses, and trucks passing by next to runners on the highway.
8. The most important problem is that the event organiser leave the runners on a high speed highway without even allocating a lane for runners.That's incredibly dangerous.
9. Volunteers were able to direct the traffic but would be much safer with Rela / Police's presence.
10. By the way, the race T-shirt and finisher medal are nice.
11. I would like to show my appreciation to the volunteers who came forward to help out with this event. They could have chosen to sleep in on their precious Sunday morning, but they gave up their comfy beds for this race.  

夜逛 鸡场街 夜市

晚餐吃饱后，我就从 牛顿美食中心 走路去 鸡场街。
晚上的鸡场街，已经被封路，车子不能通行。

JONKER WALK 鸡场街文化坊

夜晚的鸡场街比白天还要热闹，有点像 pasar malam 夜市。
整条街上都是密密麻麻的摊位和游客，走路速度变得超级慢。

当抵达 鸡场街，我第一件要做的事，是去 三叔公的钱中园冰室 买 榴莲晶露，来解渴。
