- To monitor the implementation and validate the effectiveness of all corrective actions taken for any non-conformances detected, which relate directly to the product quality of the assigned models.
- Carries out relevant in-process buy off and testing in the Production Department.
- Accountable for the quality of products produced by Production Department.
- Assist Production section in development and implementation of the defined Quality Systems with respect to compliance and continuous improvements.
- Upkeep of related quality procedures.
- Review and propose quality measures and processes to eliminate all quality incidents which directly affect the product quality of the assigned models.
- Analyze all quality information periodically and drive all Quality Improvement Activities.
- Provide technical assistance and ensuring a high competency level is maintained in quality.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure line and process compliances are in line with customers' requirements.
- Monitor and review supplier and sub-con performance, inspection and improve the quality of product.
- Updating issues regarding quality & ensure issues are reviewed and bought up to the relevant department.
- Appointed as an Internal Auditor for Starlite Printers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
- Ensure adequate actions taken to prevent occurrence of any non-conformities relating quality.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of quality & environmental management systems.
- Establish & maintain the quality management process & train junior staff and all peers to ensure compliance of the quality process.
- Establishing quality limit samples for QA and Production Departments.
- Preparing documentation for FA sample submission. To conduct the first article inspection of materials for both the customer and supplier.
- Liaise with customer, Production and suppliers in technical aspect related to product quality
- To conduct training for QC inspectors and technicians on quality-related topics, such as on-the-job training or ISO training.
- To ensure all incoming and outgoing materials pertaining to specific customer accounts are in compliance with specifications.
- To ensure non-conformance materials are properly segregated and disposition carried out.
- To support and assist in customer and third -party audits.
- To perform internal audits and supplier audits when necessary.
- To initiate corrective actions to identify defect causes and execute improvement activities according to their needs.
- To establish and maintain quality documents such as SOP, WI, etc.
- To coordinate with customers on the corrective action report, including date to reply and effectiveness.
- To liaise with customer, production, and suppliers in technical aspect related to product quality.
- To assist in IA (internal audit) to implement the company's quality and environmental systems in line with ISO 9000 and 14001 standards.
- To assist QA Manager in the migration of quality procedure walk-throughs.
- To perform physical inspection, chemical inspections for raw material, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- To follow company rules and regulations.
- To setup quality action team to solve the problem and identify the root cause.
- To execute and assist the Quality Assurance Manager in other duties assigned.
