Lubricant oil for lawn mower is 4T; Castrol (20W-40) 4T oil @ 1 litre; RM 14.50
2T oil is used to mix petrol
4T oil is separated from petrol
2T oil also known as two-stroke oil is used in 2 stroke engines which have crankcase compression. To provide proper lubrication to cylinder wall and piston by mixing with petrol and this burns easily and produce low emission.
4T oils are lube oils for 4-stroke gasoline engines.
Both these oils are used for motorcycle engines.
Unlike a four-stroke engine, a unique feature of a two-stroke engine is that they do not have an internal oil reservoir. Instead, two-stroke engines require the owner to mix oil into the fuel at a predetermined ratio in order to ensure the engine receives adequate lubrication during operation.
