Endau - Rompin (Selai): Day 1 supper

吃简单的夜宵

夜游国家公园森林后，就去食堂吃一早准备好的夜宵。

我们的夜宵是几包小零食蛋糕和热饮料。

时间：8:30 pm - 10 pm

配备：头灯和手电筒

一开始，山导带领我们过河去对面参观原住民住的屋子。
然后，我们走山路穿过森林，一边观赏野生动植物。

一路走来，我不知被多少只山蛭攻击。
夜间的山蛭，好像比白天还要凶！

午餐过后，原住民山导要求我们提前一个小时出发去瀑布。
下午一点，我们开始出发去 Takah Pandan。

原本我以为是轻轻松松的走在河流旁边去瀑布，没想到居然还要走山路爬山，
走山路爬山就算了，一路上居然还有很多山蛭 “虎视眈眈” 的想吸我们的血。

这里的山蛭还多过 Kota Tinggi 的 Gunung Panti。

我可以很肯定的说，来这里去瀑布，没有被山蛭攻击过的，就不算有去过 Endau - Rompin (Selai) 国家公园。

在小瀑布河流旁边休息，顺便清洗鞋子上的烂泥和检查脚有没有被山蛭吸血

下午两点，抵达 Takah Pandan。
山导给我们一个小时的自由时间。

下午三点，离开瀑布，开始启程回大本营。
一路下山，下着毛毛细雨。

Each FAMILY CHALET:

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchenette
2 rooms, can sleep 4 persons
Ground floor: master bed room
1st floor: single bed room for two person

The family chalets are the best accommodation here.

It is not luxurious but adequate.

A family chalet has 2 rooms with 4 beds, a bath room, fans and enough power points to charge our phone.

Not need to worry about mosquitor.

南开餐室已有74年的历史，店家每天坚持手工研磨咖啡豆并以传统手泡方式冲出一杯杯香气四溢的咖啡。

我最喜欢店家的面包夹鸡蛋和半生熟 kampung 蛋，好好吃咯！

Endau - Rompin National Park is the second designated national park in Peninsular Malaysia. And rightly so, as it contains the one of world's oldest rainforest and the volcanic rocks there date back 240 million years. Its name is derived from the two rivers through the park; the Endau river in the south in the state of Johor and the Rompin river in the state of Pahang in the north.

Itinerary

DAY 1 (29 April 2017, Saturday)

4 am: wake up

5 am: depart from my house

5:15 am: went to Seri Alam to fetch Komi

5:30 am: went to Johor Jaya to fetch Sean

6 am: assembly at Petronas Burger King after Kempas Toll

6:49 am - 7:10 am: assembly at Machap R&R, fetch CK

7:20 am: Set off to Bekok (Yong Peng >>> Chaah >>> turn right to Bekok town)

8 am: Reach Bekok & Enjoy Village Style Breakfast [南开餐室] at Kampung Bekok

9 am: Meet agent

10 am: Registration at Bekok Office. 4WD into the park (take 1 hour), 26 km from Bekok office to Endau - Rompin (Selai) Johor National Park

11:10 am: reach Endau - Rompin (Selai) Johor National Park

11:30 am: Check in FAMILY CHALET

12 pm: having lunch at Dewan Makan (Dining Hall)

1 pm - 2 pm: briefing & start trek to Takah Pandan (take 1 hour)

2 pm - 3 pm: free & easy at Takah Pandan

3 pm - 4 pm: depart from Takah Pandan

5 pm: afternoon tea & Rest

7:30 pm: dinner

8:30 pm - 10 pm: Night walk activities

10 pm: supper & Good Night

DAY 2 (30 April 2017, Sunday)

8 am: breakfast

9:15 am - 12 pm: Briefing and start trek to Takah Tinggi (take 2 - 2 1/2 hours) and packed lunch at Takah Tinggi

12 pm - 1:15 pm: free & easy at Takah Tinggi; eating lunch under waterfall

1:15 pm - 3:25 pm: depart from Takah Tinggi

3:25 pm - 4:30 pm: rest

4:30 pm: water tubing activity

5:30 pm: Afternoon tea & rest

8 pm: Dinner (BBQ)

10 pm: Kerchang games

11 pm: Good night

DAY 3 (1 May 2017, Monday, Labour Day)

8 am: breakfast

9:30 am: walk to camp site (tapak khemah)

10 am: Aborigine Games - blowpipe

11 am: walk to Herb Garden for Conservation activity (tree planting) ; after planting, go inside gallery / visitor complex

1 pm: lunch

1:50 pm: depart from Endau - Rompin (Selai) Johor National Park to Bekok office by 4WD

3 pm: visit Bekok Train Station (1886)

5:12 pm: eating early dinner at Yong Peng (Anthony Fish Ball 荣凯鱼丸)

9:30 pm: Home Sweet Home (OTW back, traffic jam, changing route from North-South highway to Old road, then changed to Senai-Desaru highway)

Remark:

To Takah Pandan, night walk activities and Takah Tinggi: will get attacked by a lot of leeches (山蛭)
Packages includes: Accommodation, meals (2 breakfast, 3 lunch, 2 afternoon tea, 2 dinner, 1 supper), transport (4WD 2 ways), orang asli guide, certificate, activities
Better bring own water supply, to avoid acclimatized (水土不服)
Not need to worry about mosquitor, only need to worry leech
Night time, the weather is cool enough, good to sleep
U Mobile internet line very bad: Maxis internet line is good.
