Full bore valve & Non-shrink grout

What is a full bore valve?

A full port or sometimes called full bore, ball valve has a straight flow path where there is not a reduction of flow as it travels through the valve. In other words, the internal diameter of the pipe or tubing at the inlet and outlet of the valve has the same diameter as the interior of the ball valve.

Non-shrink grout is a hydraulic cement grout that, when hardened under stipulated test conditions, does not shrink, so its final volume is greater than or equal to the original installed volume. It is often used as a transfer medium between load-bearing members.

What is non shrinking grout used for?

"Non-shrink" grouts are commonly used for a range of concrete repair applications including patching of honeycombs, tie-bolt holes, accidental damage, break-outs, and pack-filling of gaps and voids. Non-shrink grouts are selected because they are seen as good quality, high-strength mortars.
