Go to Genting Highlands

This is my first time going to Genting Highlands, since I study in UTAR,.

Morning I took Putra LRT from Wangsa Maju to Gombak.
Then, I went to Genting counter (near to the entrance of Gombak LRT station) to buy ticket to Genting Highlands.

Bus fare is RM 2.60 + Skyway Fare RM 5.00 = Total RM 7.60

The Genting bus straight away send me to the Genting Skyway Lower Station within one hour from Gombak LRT station. Then, I took skyway to Genting Skyway Upper Station.

Genting Skyway Information:
The Genting Skyway which spans 3.4 km is the longest cable system in South East Asia. It is also the most advanced and fastest monocable car system in the world.
System: Detachable Circulating Ropeway
Distance: 3.4 km
Vertical Height: 827 metres (2,713 feet)
Speed: 6 metres / second (max.)
No of Stations:
- Lower station near Awana Horse Ranch (917 m/3,010 feet A.S.L.)
- Upper station at Highlands Hotel (1,744 m/5,723 feet A.S.L.)

After I reach Genting Highlands, I am suppose to meet with my university course-mate, Ooi Lip Khun with his Penang friend. However, they are still on the way taking bus from Penang to Genting. So, I walk around.

Ooi Lip Khun is one of the small shareholder of GENTING BERHAD by buying some of their share. Hence, GENTING BERHAD give him some discount coupon of hotel room, skyway, etc.

While I travel around Genting Highlands, waiting for Ooi & his Penang friend coming,
I found out that the food in Genting Highlands is very expensive.
